And here is where the true power of this attack lies.  As your worm runs ahead of the pack, ALL your rushing units follow.  The worm can take a LOT of damage and all enemy units will auto-fire on the worm.  Especially if there are a lot of mino's and the like, your enemy will not be able to Micro everything on your rushing units, therefore, the bulk of the enemy units will fire on the worm, while YOUR units pound the enemy units.
