Special Note: Highly complex BO. Recommended for advanced players.
| Imagine a 5K game, no starting units, no
prebuilt. Thats not a whole lot of money. You deploy your MCV,
build a barracks, and spew out about 20 infantry, then build a
refinery. Once you place the refinery, you've already spent a little
over 3000, you begin upgrading the refinery and start building a
factory. By the time the factory is done, you've spent another 1000
on the factory, and yet another 1000 on the refinery upgrade. Your
harvester has made 1 round trip, giving you 800 more units. Sand
bikes are 350 each. You can afford to make 2 bikes. So you
spew out a couple more bikes while you twiddle your thumbs waiting for
more spice to come. You begin that second refinery upgrade, and your
money sits at big fat zero, while your third sandbike is only halfway
done. Meanwhile, as you sit around waiting for your
spice to harvest, suddenly you see it: A KOBRA is coming at
you along with 20 gas and 3 dustscouts. Woah! What
the????
But.....HOW can this be? Before you have time to think about how in the world this Kobra came into existence (when you knew that crates were off), it has already pounded your infantry forces into oblivion and while you frantically start to make a turret (with zero money, so you cancel your ref upgrade), the 20 gas annihilate your barracks before you can yell "Cheater!" and then work on your con yard. In another 10 seconds, its all over. Fade to black. You have just fallen victim to Emprworm's Kobra of Death. Before you read this BO, please see my "Magic Saw" tactic. This BO is highly complex, and requires the most coordination of any BO on this website. Some newer players may get totally lost trying to understand it, which is why I only recommend it for experienced players. It is an advanced version of the "Magic Saw" BO. I highly recommend you take a look at that tactic before looking at this one, unless you already have an excellent understanding of this game's mechanics and strategic thinking. Please understand before you look at this BO: unless you have a partner that follows this precisely, it will utterly fail. This BO requires that two players follow a pre-defined calculated series of events, with little margin of error. If either player does the wrong thing, they may find themselves broke and out of cash (5K leaves little room for building mistakes), and hence you will lose the game. Fortunately, I don't want that to happen, so I've done all the calculations for you! Enjoy! :)
