With his main ref gone, I now move to kill the second ref.  By this time, he had an upgrade on it.  This means it will take 2 IX to kill it.  I never partially kill a building with IX.  If I only have one IX, and I need 2 IX to kill something, then I will NOT use that 1 IX until I have my second one ready.  Here, I sent in 2 more IX and took out his other ref- this no more than 30 seconds after I took out his first one.  He is toast.
