In the rare case that you might come under heavy fire, build some walls as well.  They ensure that you have  a piece  of that base.  Begin making a barracks.  Your partner makes turrets and/or walls nonstop.  Meanwhile back home, keep making Mino's with an occasional goose/repair.  It is important here that you and your partner do NOT attack buildings EXCEPT for barracks and windtraps.  Why?  because you will steal them all- and you need your turrets to shoot units.
